North East Region OPP is releasing the names of victims involved in a murder/suicide near Burk’s Falls.
Police say the bodies of 88-year-old Raija Turunen, 55-year-old Ulla Theoret and 28-year-old Paul Theoret were discovered at a home in Ryerson Township. Officials say the victims were three generations of the same family. The body of 58-year-old Mark Jones was also discovered in the family home on Starratt Road. Officials originally reported that firearms were discovered in the home as well.
A criminal investigation is still underway. OPP officials are asking anyone who was in contact with any of these people last Thursday or Friday to contact your local police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
