Check the OFSC guide before hitting the snowmobile trails this weekend

It’s another mixed bag of snowmobiling availability this weekend. According to the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs online trail guide, the majority of trails are either listed as green or yellow. Green means the trails are available, while yellow means limited availability so there could be hazards on the trails.

The OFSC says if you’re riding on trails marked as yellow, use extreme caution and slow down.

Trails are available in Severn Falls, Bracebridge, Baysville and Dorset. Almost all of the trails in Huntsville are limited availability, but more open up as you head north-west to the Nipissing, Port Loring and Whitestone areas.

There are a few unavailable trails in the Axe Lake, Seguin Falls, and Highway 118 areas.

The most recent trail map on the OFSC website, as of February 15th, 2018.
