The free open house is happening at all of the charity’s eight locations, including the one in Gravenhurst. The free events include: Kids’ Crafts: 10:30am to 12:00pm Pancakes: 10:30am – 11:30am Family Fitness: 11:30am – 12:00pm Magic Show: 1:00pm Open Swim: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Vice President of Health, Fitness and Aquatics, Karen Pulla, says the day is an opportunity to parents to connect and to get the whole family together. She says it’s the perfect time to celebrate good health and well-being. In Bracebridge, there is going to be a free skate at the Memorial Arena from 1:00pm to 2:40pm. Town facilities will all be open during Family Day as well, including the library, sportsplex and municipal office. In Huntsville, there are a few events happening: Parent & Tot Skate: 10:00am-11:00am at the Don Lough Arena Family Skate: 11:00am-12:00pm at the Don Lough Arena Family Leisure Swim: 1:00pm-2:30pm at the Centennial Pool Cann Lake Outdoor Rink (Please obey signs posted at entrance) The town says all pool and ice fees will still be in effect. Town hall will be closed in Huntsville.
