MAHC offers you a chance to have a say on the future of healthcare in Muskoka
You’ll have an opportunity to have your say about the future of Muskoka healthcare.
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is holding a public meeting at the District of Muskoka office in Bracebridge on March 1st. The Capital Development Task Force members want to hear from the public before making a recommendation for a final hospital model the district.
Right now, three options are being discussed. The first is keeping the two hospital sites, the second is moving to a single hospital site to service all of Muskoka. The third option would keep both sites, but designate inpatient and outpatient services at each location. This recommendation could be ready by the spring according to MAHC officials.
If you’d like to have your say on these suggested models during this upcoming meeting you can find more details on how to get involved here.
