Assuming the weather holds out, snow plows will be in Huntsville this week. The District of Muskoka is doing snow removal on Muskoka Road 10 in Port Sydney starting Monday evening until about midnight, and then the plow will move on to Muskoka Road 3 in Huntsville. Snow removal will begin north of Highway 60 at Spruce Glen Public School and continue south through the downtown to Highway 11.
The district says it anticipates the snow removal will be finished by Wednesday morning. Businesses and residents are advised not to leave cars parked in these areas overnight on Monday on Tuesday.
