OPP bust grow-op in Huntsville

A Huntsville man is facing charges following an OPP investigation into a grow-op. The police say they were tipped off about an indoor marijuana grow operation in Huntsville. Officers with the detachment and the Central Street Crime Unit carried out a search warrant, and found over 170 marijuana plants. The police say the plants were in two stages of growth, and they also found paraphernalia to assist in the growing.
The 49-year-old man allegedly responsible for the grow-op is charged with production of a controlled substance, as well as possession of cannabis over 30 grams. He has a court date next month.
