Snow squalls expected for Muskoka tonight into Saturday

After playing hot and cold in January the winter weather is back in Muskoka.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says Georgian Bay is pushing a storm into the district which will likely cause snow squalls across Muskoka.

Muskokans could see another 5-10 centimetres during the Saturday snowfall. Coulson says a few more centimetres of snow will fall Sunday before the storm tapers off in the afternoon.

He says anyone with travel plans tonight should be prepared for whiteout conditions on the highways.
