Power out for over 3,000 homes in East Parry Sound

Some homes in East Parry Sound may be without power for a couple of hours today. Hydro One is working to restore power to close to 3,400 homes in areas including Joly, Magnetawan, Armour, and Strong townships. The power went out just after 10:00am and the utility is expected to have power restored by 2:30pm this afternoon. Crews are on their way to the area and are unsure at this time what the cause of the outage could be.
