The OPP in Muskoka isn’t taking a break from cracking down on impaired driving.
Officers with the Southern Georgian Bay detachment set up seven RIDE check stops over the month keeping an eye out for drunk drivers in the Georgian Bay Township area. One driver did get pulled off the road after being charged with impaired driving in Tay Township.
In total, officers checked 150 drivers during the January campaign.
