Your tax increase in Bracebridge may not be as high this year.

To pay for the proposed budget, the town is suggesting a 3.4 per cent tax increase or about $30 on a $200,000 home. Last year, the tax increase was $44 for a $200,000 home. Town officials say the biggest driver is the cost of infrastructure and transit. About 32 cents of every tax dollar collected is going towards these costs.

Council will be meeting on January 30th at the town hall to review the entire budget and make any necessary changes. You can find more details on this proposed budget here.
