Expect snow for the back-to-school drive on Monday

We may be getting a break from the frigid temperatures, but winter weather is still sticking around. Environment Canada is warning drivers to be careful on the roads Monday morning, as snow is falling this evening and overnight, and then tapering off at some point tomorrow.

We could be getting around 10 centimetres, with snow still falling during the morning commute in all of Muskoka. Some areas are getting more, like Parry Sound, which could see up to 20 centimetres by Monday morning.

The temperature is going to climb throughout the week, with a daytime high of minus two on Monday, dropping back down to minus six on Tuesday, but warming again on Wednesday to plus two. The warmest day of the week is expected to be Thursday, with a high of plus five and showers, before the temperature dips down to minus 10 on Friday.
