Muskoka teens looking for donations for a humanitarian aid trip to Nicaragua

Three Muskoka teens are travelling south this summer to help make a difference.

Katie Wilkes, Annalise Smart, and Catriona Dunn are working with Open Hands United Youth Mission to help build a school in the community of Puerto Cabezas. The three would leave on June 30th and return on July 12th. In the past, teens working with Open Hands have helped build a library and community centre in this community.

In order to pay for travel expenses as well as help fund the project, the three need to raise $10,000. They’re looking to Muskokans for some help raising this money. If you’d like to learn more about how to donate to this trip you can contact Reverend Pat MacDonald Executive Director of Open Hands United at 705-795-9438 or email [email protected].
