Bracebridge is making some changes to its transit service to make it more efficient.
Starting in the summer, the Bracebridge Transit Working Group began a review of the Ride The Wave bus route. The route is 24 kilometers long, which doesn’t give the bus enough time to make its rounds in an hour. In order to help the bus run on time, the working group came up with a plan to change and remove a few of the stops shaving the route down to 22 kilometers. Deputy Mayor Rick Maloney says this new route will make sure the bus service is more reliable for those using it.
