Huntsville Otters already banking a win for kids at Friday’s game

Bring your best stuffies and warm up your arm, the teddy bear toss is back. The Junior-C Huntsville Otters are hosting their annual teddy bear toss at the Canada Summit Centre tomorrow, in an effort to bring in some donations for local kids. Otters Business Manager Steve Garner says there will be a few incentives for anyone who takes part in the annual tradition.

Last year, over 100 teddy bears were collected during the toss and went to Hailey’s Wish, which then handed them out to kids in the area.

This year, all donations will go the Moose FM and Table Soup Kitchen Foundation’s stuff-a-truck event, running at Walmart this Sunday from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

The Otter are facing off against Orillia on Friday, and puck drops at 8:00pm. There will be some teddy bears available for purchase at the game.
