A construction project on White’s Falls Road is getting extended again.

The road has been closed in the Big Chute area since October as District of Muskoka crews have been replacing two aging culverts. The work was already pushed into December because of an issue with the work site. According to district officials, the work will now continue until December 22nd because of a similar issue. Officials have not given details on the exact issue that is causing these delays.

The road closure is between Trillium Lane and Arts Lane and there is a 70 km detour to get around it. You can find a detour map here.
