You could help support business growth in Huntsville. The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce is looking for nominations for its Board of Directors. The volunteer board is made up of business owners in the area, and helps to plan programs and services for chamber members. The board also helps to establish policies and direction for staff and committee. It also helps to grow local business by networking, public awareness and community promotion.
Board members serve a two-year term and will be elected at January’s annual general meeting. The time commitment includes a one-hour monthly board meeting, helping out at events and programs, attending an annual strategic planning session and attend chamber functions when possible.
