Annual Festival of Lights returns for another round of Christmas cheer in Bracebridge

Santa Claus is coming to Bracebridge a bit early this Christmas season.

The annual Festival of Lights runs downtown tomorrow night and there is a lot of fun for the whole family planned. The event starts off at six at Bird Mill Mews with Jam Sandwich holding a Christmas sing-a-long. After that Santa will stop by and use some of his Christmas magic to light up the park. After that, you can take a horse-drawn wagon ride along Manitoba Street, check out Bracebridge School of Ballet living window displays and enjoy some Christmas treats.

Officials say Manitoba Street will be closed from Taylor Road to Ontario Street during the night. The Bracebridge transit stops at the Visitor’s Centre, Clock Tower Centre and Woodchester Avenue will all be closed after 4:30 that afternoon.
