GHS students looking to support Sick Kids with Extra Life Gaming Marathon

Students at GHS are testing their gaming skills for Sick Kids.
Today, students will be kicking off the Extra Life 24-Hour Gaming Marathon in the community. The kids will be touring various businesses and organizations in Gravenhurst playing everything from Monopoly to Minecraft.
Teacher and organizer Jacki McPherson says this year they’re visiting the Boat and Heritage Centre, Tea Beards, the Old Mill, the library and will end up at the Gravenhurst Curling Club tomorrow afternoon. While the kids are gaming all night long, they’ll be collecting donations online for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
This is the fourth year GHS has taken part in this marathon and they’re hoping to raise $4,000. If you’d like to make a donation you can find a link here.
