A permanent resident in Memorial Park needs to be removed for public safety.
Bracebridge officials will be cutting down a silver maple tree in the park because it is showing signs of rot. Officials are concerned if the tree isn’t removed it could fall on its own. Manitoba Street will be closed tomorrow between Mary Street and Kimberley avenue while crews remove the tree. Rene Caisse Lane will be closed as well.
The work should only run in the morning from 9 to 11.
