OPP fear motorcycle deaths could climb to a seven year high

The OPP are concerned with the mounting number of motorcycle fatalities this year. There’ve been 26 motorcycle deaths so far and with at least two months left of the riding season, they fear the numbers could rise to a seven-year high. This week, Southern Georgian Bay OPP charged a motorcyclist with stunt driving for popping a wheelie on Highway 12. Earlier this month, police clocked a motorcyclist travelling at 210 km per hour. They were also charged under Ontario’s stunt driving law.
