Officials want to hear what you think of the Dorset Health Hub.
As part of the Muskoka Community Health Hub program, the Dorset hub has been in place for two years servicing residents in Lake of Bays and some Haliburton residents in Algonquin Highlands. The health hubs are meant to give rural residents in Muskoka easier access to a healthcare professional without having to drive to the hospital sites in Bracebridge or Huntsville.
Health Hub officials are meeting with locals tonight at 7, at the Dorset Rec Centre to get feedback directly from the medical centre users. Officials want to know what’s working, what could be improved and what healthcare services are still missing.
