Clement added to federal committee overseeing Canada’s national security
Tony Clement is helping call the shots on Canada’s national security.
The Parry Sound Muskoka MP was recently added to the multi-party National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians. The committee will be responsible for reviewing activities related to national security taken on by agencies like the RCMP and Canada’s border security. The committee will then make recommendations to the Prime Minister on how Canada’s national security can be improved.
Clement says he’s looking forward to working on providing more protection to all Canadians.
