Huntsville Mayor’s Golf Tournament brings in over $56,000 for local healthcare services

A Huntsville golf tournament is paying off big for local healthcare organizations.

The Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament recently brought in over $56,000 during its run in September. The funds have been given out to Christine’s Place, Muskoka Women’s Advocacy Group, Fairvern Long-Term Care and the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

Mayor Scott Aitchison says with over 100 golfers involved this year this was the most successful charity tournament to date. The tournament committee is already planning for next year’s run of the charity event.
