Students in Gravenhurst won’t be looking for treats when they visit your home tonight.
The kids from Gravenhurst High School are going door to door in town looking for donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank. This is the sixth year the GHS Gryphons have hit the streets for this Halloween Food Drive.
Student Chris McNeice says while they don’t have an exact total, last year’s haul was pretty amazing.
McNiece says last year they went to about 40 homes and they’re hoping to visit more this year.
He says the students will be knocking on doors around the downtown portion of Gravenhurst. Any non-perishable donations will be accepted.
