Your kid could be representing an entire study body in Simcoe and Muskoka.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Catholic School Board is taking applications for the 2018-19 school year student trustee. The student trustee will meet regularly with board members to act as a voice for students in the nine Catholic schools. The trustee is also paid $2,500 for their work and will get a $500 bursary for college or university.
In September, St. Dominic Secondary student McKenna McCoy was inducted as the 2017-18 trustee.
