The days are getting colder, but that doesn’t mean the burning bylaw has changed.
Fire officials in Huntsville want to remind residents that a daytime burning ban is still in effect. The daytime burning bylaw for Huntsville and Lake of Bays runs from April 1st to October 31st. This means residents cannot burn anything on their property outside during the day unless they have a special permit. Fire officials want to remind residents as well, if you’re caught burning yard waste at any time you can be fined as well.
