Bracebridge provides money to Biking for Builds event

A fundraiser that will help put families in homes across Muskoka and
Parry Sound has received a financial boost. Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith recently presented a $2,000 Event Tourism Grant to Habitat for Humanity Muskoka for the Biking for Builds Fall Ride which is being held September 28th. The grants are given out to support and foster
new up and coming events. The organization’s CEO Ellen Frood says the ride is a major fundraising event to build more homes in Bracebridge, Muskoka and Parry Sound. The recreational cycling event will span 85 km of scenic roads between Parry Sound and Bracebridge. For more details, visit www.rideabikebuildahome.ca
