Two people have been flown to Toronto following a crash in Bracebridge.
Early this morning Bracebridge OPP were called to Highway 11 to a single vehicle collision in the southbound lane near the Kirk Line West exit. The vehicle had reportedly crashed through a highway sign before coming to a stop on the side of the road. Three people had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries. Two of them were later airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital.
The southbound lanes were closed for over six hours while police investigated the cause of the crash. Police say charges may be laid after the full investigation is finished.
