U.S. artist teaches Muskoka students to use art instead of violence

An artist from the United States is coming to Muskoka to send a powerful message to kids about violence. It’s called the Peace Crane Project and it’s being featured at ChautauquaFest, which is on from until August 23rd. Artist, Sue DiCicco shares her story.

DiCicco started the project in response to the Sandy Hook tragedy in 2012. She says that whether we’re talking about violence in Canada or the United States, all children should know they don’t have to resort to violence.
