Two Gravenhurst men in court tomorrow to answer to alleged home invasion

An early morning break-in is ending in charges for two Gravenhurst men thought to be involved. The Bracebridge OPP says it happened around 2:30am on Saturday, when a man broke into an apartment on Bay Street in Gravenhurst. The resident told the police the invader was chased away, but then came back a couple of hours later at 4:45am with a second man.

The resident confronted the pair who then ran away. The OPP says nobody was injured during the home invasion.

A 28-year-old and a 27-year-old are now facing a number of charges. The charges include conspiracy to commit an indictable offense, robbery with violence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and disguise with intent.

The two are being held in custody and have a court date tomorrow in Bracebridge.
