Tim Hortons in Bracebridge and Port Carling will be raising funds for the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation

Buying a tasty treat could help improve healthcare in Muskoka.
On Monday, Tim Hortons will be kicking off its annual Smile Cookie Campaign. Each cookie will sell for $1 and all funds raised in Bracebridge and Port Carling are going to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation. Foundation Executive Director Colin Miller says fundraisers like this cookie campaign help keep the hospital services up to date.

Miller says the hospital relies completely on donations for capital costs as government funding doesn’t cover new equipment. You can make your donation to the hospital by buying a Smile Cookie from the Tim Hortons on Wellington Street or Depot Drive in Bracebridge and the newest addition on Bruce Wilson Drive in Port Carling. In the past, the Smile Cookie campaigns in Bracebridge has raised funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka and Hospice Muskoka. The campaign will run until September 18th.
