Gravenhurst man arrested after single vehicle crash in Bracebridge

A 23 year old Gravenhurst man is facing charges after the vehicle he was driving crashed into guardrails on the Highway 11 SB ramp from Highway 118 East. It happened yesterday around 3pm – OPP say he fled the scene on foot after the crash and that he was driving while impaired by alcohol. He was found a short time later and charged with impaired, failing to remain at the scene and having open liquor. He’ll be in Bracebridge court August 22nd to answer to the charges.
