First-degree murder case in Bracebridge is moving to pre-trial next month

A Bracebridge man charged with first-degree murder is back in court next month.
The case of 67-year-old Bryan Boland is heading to pre-trial on September 25th. Boland was arrested after a 64-year-old Bracebridge woman was killed at a home on Wellington Street on May 26th. He’s being held in custody while the case moves through court. A pre-trial is used by the court to review evidence and witness testimonies that may be used if the case moves to trial. Boland has not made a plea on the murder charge yet. The pre-trial will start at 11:00am at the Bracebridge Courthouse.
