MNRF is warning Muskokans about high water levels in the district

Heavy rainfall in Muskoka is causing some issues with lake and river water levels.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is warning local residents to keep an eye on water levels after nearly 25 mm of rain fell in the district yesterday. Officials say forest access roads may be the hardest hit with washouts and flooding. A few roads have been closed due to flooding including Williamsport Road and Deerhurst Drive in Huntsville. The MNRF says water levels should drop over the next few days.

Keep up to date with all the current road conditions here.
