Gravenhurst Public Works not being slowed by fire

The recent fire at Gravenhurst’s Public Works Yard on Crawford Road hasn’t stopped any snow ploughing. In a release, the Town says Gravenhurst crews continue to clear roads and sidewalks as usual. The Town’s electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractors continue to work at the yard’s operations centre, which was heavily damaged by fire this past week. An office trailer and generator have been set up at the site and the Town is consulting with insurers to assess appropriate coverage. Mayor Paisley Donaldson says the Town is proud of its crews who have continued to deliver services before, during and after the unfortunate situation.Gravenhurst Public Works
