We could be getting a cooler than usual August long weekend in Muskoka.
This is from Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimball as Muskokans and cottagers prepare for the second-last summer holiday weekend.
Kimball says we can expect rainy weather on Friday and then unusually cooler temperatures after that.
He says this cooler weather could continue through the rest of August and Muskokans can expect to see more rainy weather a few times a week as well.
Looking back on July, Kimball says the wet weather wasn’t as bad with about 80 mm falling compared to the average of 94 mm.
