Weekend events in Huntsville are forcing a few road closures around town. Friday night’s midnight madness will have Main Street from Centre Street to Brunel closed to cars. It will close at 5:00pm on Friday and reopen at 12:30am on Saturday. The event will feature live music, food, and shopkeeper specials.
The Avery Beach Boat Launch is also closed today for the installation of the Hunters Bay Trail floating dock extension. The launch closes at 12:00pm on July 20th and reopens at noon on the 21st.
Nuit Blanche North is also closing off Main Street on July 29th. It closes at 8:00pm on Saturday and reopens at 3:00am on Sunday. Dara Howell Way from the Mill on Main to Algonquin Outfitters will also be partially blocked off next Saturday and open to local traffic only. That’s also for Nuit Blanche North and will close at 8:00pm on Saturday and opens at 2:00am on Sunday.
