The Urban Slide won’t be happening in Huntsville this August like originally planned. The company that runs the 1,000 foot water slide, 365 sports, says bad weather this summer is forcing the cancellation. It says low-turn out to the slide at two different stops in early July forced the tough, but realistic, call.
Three stops were cancelled; Huntsville, Pembroke and Wiarton. The company says if you bought tickets, you will get a refund. The Huntsville stop was booked for two days over the August long weekend.
However, the company is still planning its stop in Penetanguishene to move forward. It runs on July 28th and 29th.
