Two people are facing charges following a three-month hit-and-run investigation in Huntsville.

OPP officials have charged a 44-year-old Burlington man with failing to remain at the scene.

He appeared in court in Bracebridge on June 27th.

Police have also laid charges against a 33-year-old Huntsville man for allegedly walking on the wrong side of the road.

On March 18th, OPP was called after the Huntsville man was hit by a vehicle on Highway 60.

He had to be airlifted to a Southern Ontario hospital with serious injuries.

The driver involved had left the scene and over a week later police announced he had been found.
