Alleged thief back in Huntsville court today

The man charged in numerous thefts in our area is back in court today. Forty-nine-year-old Richard Pitt was arrested in June after an investigation into various thefts in Huntsville, Lake of Bays and Kearney. The Huntsville OPP says he was responsible for stealing many items including a Sea Doo, utility trailers, firearms, tools and personal property. Pitt faces numerous charges including possession of property obtained by crime, careless storage and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
