Head-on crash claims Rama First Nation man's life

A head on collision has claimed the life of a Rama First Nation man.  Yesterday at 5:15 pm OPP attended County Road 169 between Brooks Side Road and Fairgrounds Road in Ramara Township. There they found two pickup trucks had been involved in a head-on collision. The driver of one of the pickups, 78 year old Ira Davy, was taken to Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia where he was pronounced dead  The driver of the second pickup was airlifted from the scene to a Toronto hospital. the crash is still under investigation.
