Bracebridge is unveiling a permanent lighted display at the falls on Canada Day

A new attraction in Bracebridge is bringing a lot of light and colour to the community.

On Canada Day, town officials will be unveiling a light display that will illuminate the falls both on regular summer nights and during special events.

The $18,000 display was set up through funding from the town, the Bracebridge Rotary Club and Bracebridge Generation Ltd.

Mayor Graydon Smith says this new addition to the falls will help highlight an already iconic landmark in Bracebridge.

The Falls will light up with red and white following the fireworks on Saturday and there are plans to illuminate green and red over the Christmas holidays.
