Road closures in Huntsville this weekend for TriMuskokan

There are a few road closures in Huntsville this weekend for the TriMuskokan triathlon. Most of the closures are on Sunday, which includes:

  • Camp Kitchen Road, from the Active Living Centre to Camp Kitchen. Closed 7:00am – 11:00am
  • Park Drive, from the Summit Centre south parking lot to Brunel at south end of Park Drive. Closed 7:00am – 10:30am
  • Forbes Hill Drive will have intermittent traffic stoppages, from the Active Living Centre to Brunel Road. From 8:45am – 11:30am
  • Brunel Road will have partial closures and intermittent stoppages, from Park Drive to Town Line Road & Town Line Rd to South Portage Road. From around 8:00am – 10:30am

Parts of the Canada Summit Centre parking lot will also be blocked off starting at around 5:00pm on Saturday evening, and won’t reopen until after 10:00pm on Sunday night. The sections opposite Huntsville High School and between the Summit Centre and the train station will both be closed.

The TriMuskokan has swim, bike and run elements at different lengths. The Canada Summit Centre is the starting point and registration area, and athletes race from there.
