It's a winter of comedy!

This weekend, Huntsville will be filled with people coming in for the Winter Comedy Carnival. General Manager with the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce Kelly Haywood says a couple of well known funny guys are in town to entertain you.

Huntsville’s Main Street has also transformed into a Nordic ski trail.

There is a craftsman challenge happening that will show off some of Muskoka’s best carpenters and builders. All the proceeds at that event will go to Habitat for Humanity Muskoka. You can also check out some live entertainment, have some delicious eats and visit the ice bar.

Meantime, there are road closures in effect. Main Street will be closed from Brunel Road to Centre Street. West Street South will be closed form Main to Minerva and King Street will close from Main to Queen. The River Mill parking lot and the King Street exit will also be closed. The closures will last until Monday morning.

Despite the road closures, you can park at the Huntsville Place Mall and hop on a shuttle. For more information on what’s happening this weekend, visit the Winter Comedy Carnival website.
