Gravenhurst man charged with luring a 15-year-old on the internet

A 53-year-old Gravenhurst man has been charged with trying to lure a 15-year-old girl on the internet. Police arrested the man after a two month investigation. Police say that yesterday, the man went to a Burlington establishment where he thought he was going to meet a 15-year-old girl. Instead, he was met by plainclothes officers and got arrested. He has been charged with two counts of luring a child on the internet and two counts of sending sexually explicit material to a person under 16 years of age.  Two computer devices and other items were also seized at a Gravenhurst residence as part of the investigation. He’s scheduled for a bail hearing today in Milton. The investigation continues.
