Sinking Ship Entertainment is driving into Perry Township to get started on filming a playground reconstruction. The company will be filming a show called Giver, which will focus on revamping 10 playgrounds across Ontario. Deputy Clerk Brian Gilmer says it’s going to be an alphabet themed park.

Gilmer says the film crew will be there guiding volunteers during the build.

Gilmer says Perry was one of 10 communities chosen for this project. Construction will mostly take place on Friday and Saturday.
