Muskoka has a new Public Works Commissioner. Fred Jahn has been appointed to the position of Commissioner of Public Works and Engineering and starts work in that position August 18th. A long time Bracebridge resident, Jahn joins the District after 12 years with Rama First Nation where he was the Director of Facilities and Operations. He’s also held private sector engineering leadership positions in Muskoka with Panolam Industries and Alcan Wire and Cable. Jahn succeeds Tony White, who is retiring after 30 years of service with the District.
