The Beer Store and OPP team up to promote Superbowl safety
The Beer Store estimates it will sell about five Olympic pools worth of brew this weekend as football fans prepare for the Super Bowl. That’s why the retailer and the OPP are teaming up to encourage people not to drink and drive. The OPP will be out in full force Sunday night and into Monday morning at RIDE checks throughout the province. Party hosts are being warned that letting a guest drive home when they know the party-goer is impaired could lead to criminal charges. If you are celebrating the big game this weekend—make sure you have a plan to get home safely.
