The Muskoka Lakes Museum is marking its Golden Jubilee this year and the public is invited to a full day of free exhibits, displays and entertainment. It’s happening Saturday, July 26th from 10:30am to 4:00pm. The day will feature displays about Muskoka animals, an 1812 military encampment, antique boats and Muskoka Pioneer Power exhibits. There will also be pioneer children’s games in the morning and craft demonstrations in the afternoon. Sunset Cruises will provide special boat tours from the locks and there will be special exhibits, family activities and self-guided tours in the Museum. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair for a wonderful line up of music enjoyed by Muskokans across the ages.
