THIS JUST IN: Bala Falls portage ruling to be announced Monday

Ontario’s Court of Appeal says their decision regarding the portage and hydro plant at North Bala Falls will be released Monday, July 21st at 10:30am. The court heard evidence from both sides of the issue this past week and could reverse the portage ban imposed by the MNR or uphold it. The decision will be posted online at noon at www.ontariocourts.ca under the ‘decisions’ tab.
